Sunnyside is a private daycare, located in a quiet neighbourhood in the Fallingbrook Community. Our daycare provides a safe, warm and stimulating environment for your child to feel secure and loved. A place where your little one will be able to grow, learn and develop. Our focus is Play-Based-Learning; which will allow your child to explore, discover, be creative and build positive relationships with multi-aged friends.
The right balance
For over a decade, Sunnyside Orléans Daycare has been helping children build a solid educational foundation. It does so, by incorporating a critical balance between 3 building blocks. Sunnyside’s environment paves the steps for children to develop the social, emotional and mental skills to be Junior Kindergarten ready. The curriculum is designed individually and with each phase in mind.
Learning program
After COVID-19, the need for high-quality early childhood education has never been greater. Increasingly, children are growing up in families where parents are working. However, the experiences that a child has in their earliest years shape their development, and daycare facilitators play an important role in creating those experiences. Sunnyside Daycare tailors the program's interactions to fit the needs of each child —by using responsive language; engaging all children in learning opportunities; fostering independence; and creating a language-rich environment.
Sunnyside Daycare adopts a research-based curriculum that is developmentally, culturally, and linguistically relevant for all children. In addition to indoor learning environment, children also get access to outdoor learning space, where they move and engage with the natural world. The three age-group stages at Sunnyside include infants, toddlers and preschoolers, who follow a curriculum that focuses on their need to explore and discover the world around them.
