Circle Time
Our learning is interactive and supported through songs, dance, stories, finger plays and felt board. We dance, read, sing, learn letters, count numbers, puppets/finger plays, felt stories and much more.
Free Play
Your little one will independently choose their activity of choice.
Story time
Your little one will be introduced to the magical world of books. Engaging days of classic songs and stories they will cherish forever.
Arts and Crafts
Your child will be presented with various art mediums and materials to explore in their own ways.
Outdoor Play
Outdoor Play
At Sunnyside, we value outdoor play and the importance of physical activity and fresh air. We will be outside for a period of time in the morning and again in the afternoon. Depending upon the weather, we go on neighborhood walks, splash pads, parks, library, and play groups.
"Games and activities are more than just fun for our children -They also help with physical development and early learning."
In the warmer months, your little one will participate in age-appropriate-activities such as swinging, climbing, sliding, riding trikes, sidewalk chalk, playhouse, sandbox, water table, sprinkler etc.
In the colder months, we play in the snow, build snowmen, snow angels, create snow art, make snow forts, winter walk etc.
NOTE:
1- We maintain a "small group ratio", in order to provide an opportunity to learn as a group and on individual learning.
2- Themes are used in all of our activities, to promote additional learning and fun in our everyday discoveries.

At Sunnyside, we focus on a play-based learning environment, to allow children to do what they do best... to play. Hands-on-activities are provided to let your little one explore and discover. Our Interest-Learning-Centers are designed to meet each child’s development and interests.
